THIS WEEKEND AT OLG
ESTE FIN DE SEMANA EN OLG
Second Collection - for Haiti
We are all aware of the devastating effects suffered by the people in Haiti as a result of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that struck that country on Saturday, Aug. 14, and, as of this writing, left 2,000 people dead and resulted in much damage to property, including to several major hospitals. The storm that recently hit hampered humanitarian efforts, and it is estimated that about half a million Haitian children have little or no access to shelter, safe water, healthcare and nutrition.
We will be having a special collection THIS weekend (8/28 & 8/29) to help send funds over for disaster relief. Your contributions are much appreciated, thank you. The money collected will be transferred to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, with specific instructions that it is to be used to assist the most needy in Haiti.
Let us continue to pray for the many people in Haiti who find themselves in grave need, invoking Our Lady of Perpetual Help, patroness of Haiti.
Thank you for your consideration.
PROPIEDAD, INCLUYENDO A VARIOS HOSPITALES IMPORTANTES.
